Social development is stressed, as well as behavioral and physical development in a “fun” atmosphere. In addition, children in this age group will have an opportunity to participate in a creative movement class, which is part of the weekly schedule. Two qualified gymnastic teachers visit our school each week to work with individual classes; this is included in the cost of your tuition.

Our building is designed for the children’s well being and total development. Individual classes utilize the Library, Science Lab, Great Room, and Outdoor Nature Classroom. The outdoor play areas are designed for optimum use by the children. The three-year old playground is equipped with the safety and enjoyment of this age in mind. A gazebo large enough to accommodate an entire class is part of this playground equipment. Our play areas provide hours of enjoyment for the children.

Each class uses a literature-based curriculum, specifically designed to foster age-appropriate developmental skills for the children. Each teacher selects a specific book to develop a pre-determined theme and utilizes that book to present concepts pertinent to the stage of development of the children. Incorporated into each curriculum are opportunities for music, creative art, learning centers, directed activities, and outdoor fun.

The private school environment we offer provides our families with resources and tools to enrich their life as a family. The Interfaith Child Development Center continues its outstanding accomplishments while meeting the educational and nurturing needs of our children.
