School Age Programs

We have a few spots left for this school year! Call us today to learn more at 281-292-3617.
Interfaith Child Development Center (ICDC) provides care for students in Kindergarten through fourth grade through our School Age Program. We provide transportation from some of the Woodlands area public schools including Creekside. The children are provided a home-away-from-home atmosphere while at ICDC.
At ICDC, children engage in diverse activities, including arts and crafts, cooking games and wonderful social interaction with friends and peers. Also offered are opportunities to experience activities such as field trips.

ICDC Celebrates 44 Years of Learning

This fall, Interfaith Child Development Center celebrated their 44th anniversary. Established in 1976, Interfaith Child Development Center is a state licensed school that serves children 18 months through Transition. Our school age program provides care for students in Kindergarten through fourth grade.

“The mission is still the same as it was forty-four years ago, to inspire children to grow, discover, and develop a love of learning,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Interfaith Child Development Center is located at 5630 Rush Haven Drive in The Woodlands. Devoted entirely to the development of children, the building has three wings with large well-equipped classrooms and a multi-purpose room. Special enrichment features of the school include five separate age-appropriate playgrounds, a wonderful children’s library, and a hands-on science lab. Extra-curricular activities such as music, creative movement and Spanish are also offered.

Slow The Spread of Covid-19

Safety is of the utmost importance at ICDC, and we have implemented a myriad of safety protocols to keep your children and our ICDC staff safe during these unprecedented times.

Please help us by working with your children at home to help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Teachers Work Through Distance Learning

We are so thankful for our ICDC teachers that pour love and instruction into our children each day. Even in the midst of a pandemic, our teachers are continuing to work through distance learning to keep children engaged and intellectually stimulated.

Established in 1976, Interfaith Child Development has over four decades of educating children in our community. We are so grateful to our teachers who work daily to further ICDC’s mission to inspire children to grow, discover and develop a love of learning.
