18 Months / Toddlers

18+ Month Program

This program includes indoor and outdoor play, art projects, and simple directed academic activities. Our goal at this very young age is to provide toddlers with a clean, safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Children are encouraged to explore their feelings and become increasingly ready to take initiative and participate in group activities.

2-Year Old Program

This program offers a practical, hands on learning environment working to develop a positive self-image and social skills, and encourage independence and sharing. Activities focus on developing hand eye coordination, building fine and gross motor skills, encouraging language development, and beginning problem solving.

Goals are achieved through imaginative play, storytelling, art, sharing time, and exploring outdoors. Language development is encouraged through conversation, singing songs and echoing the children’s feelings.

Our curriculum is content based, enhanced with literature and monthly themes.  It incorporates enhancements such as Handwriting Without Tears, Zoophonics, Music and Movement, Art, Math, Fine and Gross motor skills, and much more.

Our Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers work as a team, planning and cooperating in all facets of the curriculum to make this a fun experience for the children.  Furthermore, local educational trends are carefully monitored so that our students will be well prepared for entry into both public and private sectors of formal education.
