ICDC Celebrates 44 Years of Learning

This fall, Interfaith Child Development Center celebrated their 44th anniversary. Established in 1976, Interfaith Child Development Center is a state licensed school that serves children 18 months through Transition. Our school age program provides care for students in Kindergarten through fourth grade.

“The mission is still the same as it was forty-four years ago, to inspire children to grow, discover, and develop a love of learning,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Interfaith Child Development Center is located at 5630 Rush Haven Drive in The Woodlands. Devoted entirely to the development of children, the building has three wings with large well-equipped classrooms and a multi-purpose room. Special enrichment features of the school include five separate age-appropriate playgrounds, a wonderful children’s library, and a hands-on science lab. Extra-curricular activities such as music, creative movement and Spanish are also offered.

Spring at ICDC

ICDC’s Transition to Kindergarten class welcomed spring with a visit to Wendtwoods Park. The children enjoyed reading Spring stories, going on a scavenger hunt, playing team building games, blowing bubbles and flying kites. The visit ended with a teddy bear picnic lunch.
